3 day "November Mushroom Retreat" near Barcelona, Spain Copy

A two night retreat in a beautiful guest house in an isolated valley of the pre-Pyrenees culminating in a mushroom ceremony on the second evening.

The retreat is designed to disconnect you from your screens and the hurly-burly of your day-to-day life and re-connect you to the felt presence of your body and its place in the natural environment.

The retreat will take place at the height of the mushroom foraging season in Catalonia, when the forests are burgeoning with comestible mushrooms. We will integrate mushroom foraging into our usual practices of connecting with the forest and while diving into the knowledge of the mycophile Catalan culture.

Collecting mushrooms is a practice that connects us to the knowledge of our ancestors as well as putting ourselves in a totally unique frame of mind that goes back to our long forgotten hunter gatherer nature: observing the shady and moist patches of the forest is a unique experience of sensing the mushroom ecosystem and it enable us to attune to the world of mycelium before diving into the psychedelic mushroom experience.

If the weather allows it and we are successful in our endeavor, the forest will provide the (comestible) mushrooms for the risotto that we will prepare on the integration day closing the retreat with gratitude and sense of abundance closely connected to the land.

Other activities will include yoga, sound journeys, vocalisations, drumming and discussions about psychedelics and discussions about mushroom cultivation.

These activities will also help to prepare you for the mushroom ceremony that will take place on the second day. The ceremony will be held in a carefully prepared space, and you will be accompanied on your psychedelic journey by experienced guides who will keep the ceremony unfolding organically with the help of traditional instruments and song.

There will be an integration circle the next day and a follow up video-call a week or so later to support you in your continuing integration.
